Joel Corry torna su Radio Sound con un nuovo lavoro intitolato ‘BED’, frutto della collaborazione con RAYE e David Guetta. Si tratta del primo singolo dopo una delle hit mondiali degli ultimi mesi e #1 in UK , ‘Head & Heart’ ft. MNEK.
In ‘BED’ Joel cerca di catturare i sentimenti della lunga esperienza che ci sta accomunando tutti negli ultimi 12 mesi.
Guetta aveva già collaborazione con Joel nel remix di ‘Head & Heart’ sotto il suo alias club Jack Back, e a dare il tocco definitivo ca questa traccia ci pensa poi la voce di RAYE, già presente in brani di Guetta, Jax Jones, Diplo e recentemente in ‘Regardless’ ft. Rudimental
Il primo singolo di successo di Joel è del 2019 ed è ‘Sorry’ – un ottimo re-work del grande classico UK di Monsta Boy, un brano che ha stazionato per ben 10 settimane nella UK Top 10, con picco al #6, e che ha infranto il record di Shazam di tutti i tempi in UK ricevendo in sole 24 ore più di 41,000 tags
Poi è stato il turno di ‘Lonely’ nel Gennaio 2020, andato al #4 della Official Chart UK e rimasto ben 11 settimane nella UK Top 10. Alla fine ‘Head & Heart’ ft. MNEK è però il brano che è valso a Joel il suo primo #1 in UK lo scorso Giugno 2020, un brano che è stato al top per sei settimane consecutive, cosa che lo ha reso il #1 più longevo in termini di settimane consecutive nella chart 2020 UK. E non dimentichiamoci il 2 x PLATINO il #1 in Shazam anche in ITALIA!!!
